• Scientifically Proven Benefits of Hypnosis

It’s time for another round up of hypnosis news from around the world. The Huffington Post has an article examining the scientifically proven benefits of hypnosis, although it’s lagging behind the times a bit as far as proof is concerned: hypnotherapy is a well established method to address all manner of psychological difficulties.

The Gloucestershire Echo has a very positive article extolling the virtues of hypnotherapy, HYPNOTHERAPY can help a host of problems from anxiety and stress to giving birth, phobias and giving up smoking. All these things can be helped individually but it is also useful if you want to sort out all your negatives thoughts and approach the future with a clearer head.”

Fox News has an article about the benefits of hypnotherapy and weight loss, "People lose weight right away, that's the main thrust of the program. When they lose that kind of weight, they are motivated to continue with the program."

Here’s a very valuable video from a Houston news station – KHOU. It’s really worth checking out so you can see the benefits children receive from spending time in hypnosis. If you’ve ever wondered what hypnotherapy is like, the video is very informative.

Hypnosis as an alternative to anaesthetics is becoming more common, hard on the heels of the story about the French woman who had throat surgery while hypnotised, we have this account of an American psychologist using hypnotherapy techniques to undergo knee surgery.

Well, that's enough to be going on with for today. There's lots more news to share so look out for another blog entry soon.
